Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryIRENE M. CLARKE Peacefully, with her family by her side, on Wednesday, February 12, 2003, Irene M. Clarke, aged 92 years, at Grace Hospital. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Sharon Miller (Don) grandchildren, Dawn (Paul), Ryan (Amy) and Tanis (Mark) her sister Isabel; nephew Jim (Wendy) niece Tori; and grandniece and nephew, Cassie and Chase. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Clarke; her brother-in-law Lawrence Fraser; and her parents, James and Catherine Fraser. Born in Nova Scotia, Irene was the first woman in Scotsburn to own a car. She was a talented church organist and store owner who, along with her husband Bob, loved to travel. She was a vibrant, independent woman who was full of fun and stories. She loved to relate tales of her numerous journeys with her beloved Bob, and of dancing the Second World War away. She loved to be with her family, and was always so proud of her devoted daughter Sharon and her grand-children. She was also delighted at the prospect of becoming a great-grandmother to two later this year. A celebration of Irenes life took place on Monday, February 17 at Leatherdale Gardiner, 1858 Portage Ave., with Rev. Don McIntyre officiating. Interment followed at Brookside Cemetery. Thank you to the staff at Heritage Lodge and at Grace Hospital for taking special care of our mama. LEATHERDALE GARDINER 1858 Portage Ave., 949-4872
