Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNICK POSALUKO Nick Posaluko born August 24, 1919 in Thalberg, MB, youngest child of Ukrainian pioneers, passed away at his home in Beausejour, MB on Sunday, February 16, 2003. He leaves to mourn his wife of 59 years, Monica; daughter Katina Chapman (Rick), of Estevan, SK; granddaughter Nicole Walliser (Ken) of Estevan, SK; grandsons, Brad Chapman of Regina, SK, Brian Chapman of Victoria, BC; great-grandchildren, Amanda, Kelly, Brandon and Brittany Walliser. He is predeceased by his son Gary; and his parents; four brothers; and four sisters. Nick worked for Manitoba Hydro for 34 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus 4107. Nick devoted many hours to the Columbian Squires. He also served his country in Europe during the Second World War. Upon retirement, Nick and Monica moved to Gull Lake, MB and became winter Texans for some fifteen years. Nicks passions were fishing, cards and golfing. He won numerous trophies and medals and competed in the Manitoba Seniors Games. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 20 at 1:00 p.m. in Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy. No. 1 East at Green Acres Lane. Viewing will take place one half hour prior to service. Interment to follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens.
