DUNCAN MCVEAN O'HARA On January 16, 2003, Duncan O'Hara passed away suddenly at the age of 70 years. Duncan was born in Dominion City, MB on October 8, 1932. At the age of 18 he joined The Royal Canadian Navy and served from 1950 to 1955 in the H.M.C. Ships for Mercantile Marines of Canada. Duncan then earned a Second Class Engineers Certificate of Competency and worked all of his life in this trade. Duncan retired as a long-time employee of Safeway working at the milk plant in Edmonton. During his retirement, Duncan enjoyed fishing and rebuilding cars. He was always there to lend a helping hand to his neighbours and friends. Left to mourn his passing are his children, Craig (Karen), Kim (Al), Tim (Heather), Kathy (Lance). He will also be missed by the mother of his children, Daisy OHara and his grandchildren, Sean, Adam, Alycia, Abrie and Sydney. Duncan will be remembered by his sister Betty and numerous relations of Manitoba. The will be a funeral service on Thursday, February 20 at 1:00 p.m. at the St. Andrews Church on the Red, St. Andrews, MB, Hwy. 9, Junction 410.
