LILLIAN B. DALLAS (nee WALLACE) After a long battle with cancer Lillian passed away in the early morning of February 15, 2003 at St. Boniface Hospital. She was predeceased by her parents, Andrew and Bella Wallace and a bother Rod. Lil will be sadly missed by Ross, her husband of 45 years. Also left to mourn is her niece Sheila Armer and family of Mt. Forest, ON; nephew Malcolm McArthur of Winnipeg; brothers, Fred of Winnipeg and Ken of Calgary. Lil was born in 1924 and raised in Norwood before spending her adult life in St Vital. Most of Lils working life was spent at Moores Business Forms, retiring in 1986. In her younger years Lil loved her time at Brereton Lake, her day ski trips to LaRiviere and curling with the St. Vital Business Girls. Over the years Lil and Ross enjoyed many trips to the British Isles, Europe, Florida and Hawaii. Special thanks to Dr. A.W. Maksymiuk, the St. Boniface Hospital Oncology staff (1st and 2nd floors south) and the 5th floor staff for all their wonderful care and kindness. Cremation has taken place and at Lils request there will be no formal service. In lieu of flowers, donations may by made in Lils memory to Cancer Care Manitoba O Block, 409 Tache Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2H 2A6, or to the Charity of ones choice.
