Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNICHOLAS (NICK) MYKYTYN On Wednesday, February 19, 2003, at the Arborg and District Health Centre, Nick fell asleep in death at the age of 86. Nick was predeceased by his parents Peter and Mary; brothers, Bill (in infancy), John, Mike and Steve; sisters, Catherine, Anne and Pauline; and nephew Wayne Mykytyn. He is survived by brothers, Matt and Alex; sisters, Nellie, Doris, Jean and Lena; nephews, Raymond Grynol, Joe, Alex and Peter Kalopenuk; nieces, Susan Grynol and Priscilla McLeod; sister-in-law Christina of California. Nick was born on May 27, 1916, and lived most of his life in Chatfield. At times he worked for pulpwood companies in Ontario, and seasonal work such as harvesting. Failing health in recent years has limited his activities. He was an avid reader and enjoyed reading the Bible and eagerly shared with others the wonderful Bible promises of Jehovahs Kingdom when Paradise conditions will exist on the earth and such things as death, mourning and pain will be no more. (Revelation 21:4). Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 22 at the Chatfield Community Hall with Tom Read conducting the service. Interment to follow at the Chatfield Cemetery. Many thanks to Dr. duPloy and the hospital staff for their care of Nick while in hospital at Arborg.
