MAGDALENE FLORA (OLA) LILLIE (nee BUNN) Peacefully on February 19, 2003 at Golden Links Lodge our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away at the age of 98. She is survived by her son George; daughters, Betty (Ray) Lincoln, Marlene (Vic) Bryll; six grandchildren, Sheryl (Kevin) Bernstrom, Suzanne (Dan) Swanton, Darren (Darlene) Lincoln, Teressa (Pat) Blank, Tom (Dana) Bryll, Rhonda Bryll, fiancee John Williams; and 11 great-grandchildren; sister Beatrice Smith of Shoal Lake; nephew Cecil; sisters-in-law, Kay and Gladys Lillie. She was predeceased by her husband Percy, two sisters and a brother. Flora was born in Shoal Lake on November 23, 1904 where she worked in the telephone office. She married in 1935, moving to Strathclair where she lived until 1974 when she moved to Winnipeg. Flora was active in WI, in Harrow and St. Georges seniors groups and in activities such as shuffleboard and bingo at McKinnon House and Richmond Gardens. Her zest for life and her wonderful smile will be sadly missed by all. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Monday, February 24 at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity United Church, 933 Summerside Ave. Sincere thanks to the wonderful staff at Golden Links Lodge. Their special care, kindness and compassion will always be remembered. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
