SARAH DOROTHY LUCKING (HEESAKER) November 5, 1920 - February 20, 2003 Surrounded by the love of her family, Dorothy, aged 82 years, passed away peacefully at the Carman Memorial Hospital. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Freeman; six children, Doreen (Clayton) of Miami, Kathleen (Alvin) of Winnipeg, Ellen (George) of Coaldale, AB, Charlie (Debbie) of Winnipeg, Dorothy (Greg) of Moose Jaw, SK, Shelley of Carman; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by four brothers, Albert, Gene, Art and Ed; and sister Carrie; and numerous nieces and nephews. Dorothy was predeceased by her parents and infant daughter Eileen. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22 at 2:00 p.m. at the Carman Community Hall, with Rev. Brad Elliott officiating. Interment will take place in the Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7. Doyles Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
