DOREEN ANDERSON (nee DESJARLAIS) With great sadness we announce the passing of Doreen Anderson (Desjarlais) on February 18, at the age of 61 years. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband of 38 years, Allan and her loving son Brent, also her many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her son Glen; father Jean; mother Eva; brothers, Fred and Edward; and sister Lorraine. She was born on August 6, 1941 in Eriksdale, MB, and raised in Oak Point, MB. She spent most of her life working at CN and caring for her family. She retired from CN in December 1995. She loved playing and watching sports especially her sons hockey and football games. Doreen loved to cook, spending time at the lake and playing cards with the family. She will be lovingly missed by her family and many friends. A memorial service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 24, 2003 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons St. A private interment will take place at a later date in the Transcona Cemetery.
