Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDON FAIRCLOTH September 6, 1940 - February 22, 2003 Peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, Don Faircloth passed away at the Grace Hospital at the age of 62 years. He was predeceased by his mother, Katherine and father, William. Left to mourn his passing are his sisters, Dusty Miller, Barbara Sinclair (Bill) and Lyn Pylypiw (Jim) and brothers, Bob (Jean), Gerry (Marlene) and Ken (Naida) special nephew Richard, and many other nieces and nephews. Also left to mourn are his son Neil and Neils mother Doreen. Don was born in Thunder Bay and moved to Winnipeg in the 1950s. He worked in Winnipeg and retired after years of service at the Provincial Law Court Building. Don was devoted to his family, who meant everything to him. He was a huge CFL football fan, always willing to talk to you about a recent signing or game. He loved to laugh, and was quick with a joke or comment to draw a smile to your face. He was happiest when with his friends or family, and treasured the time he got to spend with them. A memorial service will be held Friday, February 28, at 2:00 p.m. at the Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave (at Aubrey Street). As per Dons wishes, he has been cremated and interment will be held in Thunder Bay, ON. Special thanks to his nurse Pat Cummings, special friends Anne, Polly, Tom and Jan, Al and Cathy, Les, and Wes. The family wishes to thank the Grace Hospital and the Victoria Hospital for their support and care over the years. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to either the Victoria Hospital Foundation or the Grace Hospital Palliative Care Unit. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200
