Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFORTUNATO de la ROSA On Sunday, February 23, 2003, our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grand-father, Fortunato de la Rosa, was finally called to join our Creator after a lengthy battle with cancer. He spent his last days at the Riverview Health Centre, surrounded by his family and loved ones. He was predeceased by his parents, Nemesio de la Rosa and Maria Prangan; and his oldest son Rogelio de la Rosa (Rosalina). Left to mourn are his wife Teodora L. de la Rosa; and children, Jaime (Linda), Jimmy (Pamela), Edna Villaflor (Roger Bagay), Merly (Jojo Gutierrez), Dino (Tammy) and Vilma (Victor Ablang). His numerous grandchildren in Winnipeg, Jamielyn and Jessie de la Rosa, Chelsy, Romel, Billy Joe and M.J. Gutierrez, Jaden and Branden de la Rosa and Michael Ablang. Grandchildren in the Philippines, Bella, Marvin, Ariel, Gigi, Rona, Shein, Junior, Melva, Jonalyn, Peejay, Jaypee, Ken Mark, James, Chris, Ronald, and Macky; great-grandchildren, Kayla in the Philippines and Darren James Dingle of Winnipeg. Pallbearers will be Ranie Ricafort, Ver Ablang, Manny Joven, Fred Bangloy, Brent Viloria and Jhun Gutierrez. We wish to acknowledge and express our warmest gratitude to all the people who have helped us in one way or another during this very difficult time. And to all the excellent people who were with us from the start to end. Lamay will be held on Friday, February 28, and Saturday, March 1 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight, with prayers at 7:00 p.m., at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. Funeral mass will be held at St. Peters Church, 748 Keewatin on Saturday, March 8 at 10:00 a.m., with Msgr. Comeault officiating. Interment will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens, with reception at Glen Eden Reception Centre. Arrangements entrusted to: GLEN EDEN FUNERAL HOME 4477 MAIN STREET 338-7111
