VERA KATHLEEN IVES Peacefully on February 23, 2003 Vera passed away at the Riverview Health Centre. Vera was born on April 18, 1915, in Moose Jaw, SK. She lived with her parents, Walter and Margaret Ives in Saskatchewan until 1946, when they moved to Winnipeg. Because Vera was a person with a physical disability, she lived all of her life with her parents and her sister Alice Klassen and brother-in-law William (Bill) Klassen of Winnipeg. Vera enjoyed life, despite the challenges it placed before her. Vera is survived in Winnipeg by her sister Alice Klassen and Alices children, Raymond (Karen), Arlene Erb (Raymond), and Debbie Findlay (Peter). Vera was a caring aunt who showered her nephew and nieces with love, affection and generosity. She will be sadly missed. Also left to grieve Veras passing are her brothers, Walter Ives (and wife Kathleen) of Atlanta, GA; and Ron Ives (and wife Vivian) of Nanaimo, BC. She was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Margaret Ives and her sister Milby Miller of Penticton BC. A private family service will be held. Flowers are gratefully declined.
