She was predeceased by her father Ned Hammel. She will be greatly missed by her husband Robert Bruce Sanborn; mother Dorothy Hammel; daughter Rita (Daniel Richter) son David (Crystal) granddaughter Raven; brothers, Larry, Rick, Ed, Vern and their families. Her ashes will be interred at her home town of Kindersley, SK.
