Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTOMASA B. GARCIA Peacefully on Tuesday, February 25, 2003, Tomasa B. Garcia passed away at the age of 89 years, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in San Miguel, Bulacan, Philippines on December 31, 1913 and immigrated to Canada in 1973. She leaves to mourn her passing, children, Flordeliza Walawala (Felipe), Fransisco Garcia (Nenita), Geronimo Garcia (Saturnina), all of Winnipeg and son Jose Garcia (Sotera) of the Philippines. Grandchildren, Emerson Walawala, Grace Alvarez (Jun), Ariel Garcia (Natashia), Gilda, Gina and Elton Garcia of Winnipeg, Marican (Simon) and Esposito Garcia of British Columbia, Jennifer, Joerex, George, Julie and Julius Garcia of the Philippines. Great-grandchildren, Aaron, Allen, Joshua, Jacob, Jordan, Brandon, Alexis and Joy. Cousins, Fermina Sangalang of Winnipeg, Victorio Manuzon and family of British Columbia. Lamay (viewing) will be held on Saturday, March 1 and Sunday, March 2 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. (midnight) at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. with prayers being said on Saturday at 8:30 p.m. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, March 4 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Josephs Roman Catholic Church, Mountain Ave. and Andrews St. Rev. Fr. Dado Parrenas officiating. Interment to follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Ricardo Reyes, Nandy Aviles, Jun Velarde, Rey Bustamante, Demy San Gabriel, Amor Bustamante. We wish to thank all relatives and friends for all the support and to Emy Joaquin and Joe Sulit of C.K.J.S. and all the staff, to Dr. Frances Ha and the emergency unit of Health Sciences Centre, GD4 and GD5 staff for all their care and compassion.
