Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEDWARD AUGUSTYN It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Edward Augustyn on February 25, 2003, at the age of 47 years. He was born in Poland on December 21, 1954 and came to reside in Winnipeg in 1984. He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 16 years, Margaret; and his loving son and daughter, Andrew and Renata. He also leaves behind his sister Lucy, with nephews Jarek and Mark, brother-in-law Stanley Wojcik, and sister Wieslawa, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins in Poland. He is also survived by father-in-law Chris and mother-in-law Regina Michalak. He was predeceased by his father Wladyslaw and mother Zofia. He spent 20 years of his life as a roofer, providing for his family. He took pride in providing a loving home and watching his children grow into young adults. A special thanks to the doctors and nurses and the support staff of GA4, Health Sciences Centre for all their care and support. Prayers will be celebrated on Friday, February 28 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated on Saturday, March 1 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave. with an Oblate Father officiating.
