LARRY ABRAHAM Peacefully at the St. Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg, MB on Tuesday, February 25, 2003 after a lengthy battle with cancer, Larry Abraham, aged 71 years, went to his eternal rest. Larry is survived by his wife of 30 years, June; his children, Ronnie (Valerie), Debbie (Oliver), Michael (Darlene), Theresa (Garry), Danny; and their mother Margaret; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Also surviving is his sister Gilberte Martin; sisters-in-law, Sandra and Joyce; and a brother-in-law Adelord; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Leon and Antoinette; brothers, Gerald and Dennis; as well as his sister Audette. Larry had a great love for the outdoors and was happiest when he was out hunting or fishing. He served in the Korean War and was honoured for his service. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held on Friday, February 28 at 1:00 p.m. from Our Lady of Hope Church RC, Anola, MB, with Fr. Owen Steeves officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be Gerry Bonin, Richard Shankaruk, Leon Abraham, George Abraham and Jason Coe. If friends so desire, memorial donations in Larrys memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 9Z9.
