In Loving Memory Of ANDREW IWANOCZKO "Uncle Andy" Saturday, February 22, 2003 Redditt, Ontario It is with sadness in our hearts that we share the sudden passing of Uncle Andy, who left us peacefully in his home. He is survived by his nephew Don (Erna) Iwanoczko and family of Selkirk, MB; his sister-in-law Mary Horne of Redditt. Also survived by his nieces, Marlene (Bob) Pavletic and children of Geraldton; Brenda McDonald and children of Kenora and Linda Horne of Redditt. Predeceased by his wife Catherine in 1991, brother John in 1979, his nephew Dale in 1998. Also his brother Mike and parents in the Ukraine. Uncle Andy was born May 24, 1922 in the Ukraine. In 1946 he then came to Canada to join his brother John and family of Elma, MB. He was employed by the Canadian National Railways and remained there until retirement. He was a treasured and respected member of the community of Redditt and had many friends in the Kenora area. Uncle Andys strength of character and giving will be remembered and missed by all who knew him. At his request there will be no funeral service. Viewing will be held on Thursday, February 27 from 11:30 - 12:30 p.m. in the chapel of the Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Centre. Interment to follow in the Redditt Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. followed by a luncheon at the Redditt Legion Hall. Pallbearers will be Don Iwanoczko, Bob Pavletic, Maurice Phillips, John Stevens, Michael Happelle and John Goda. Honorary pallbearers will be Ron Kowalik and Doug Goda. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Andys memory to the Lake of the Woods District Hospital, CT Scan Fund, 21 Sylvan St. West, Kenora, ON P9N 3W7.
