JOAN ANNIE FERGUSON Peacefully on Saturday February 22, 2003 Joan passed away at Deer Lodge Centre with family at her side. Joan leaves to cherish her memory her loving and caring husband Archie; daughters, Diane and Margaret; son-in-law Paulo; brother Peter and his wife Hilda; sister-in-law Jen MacDonald. She was predeceased by her parents Hettie and Jack and brother Lewis. Joan was a devoted wife and mother with a zest for life and a smile for all. Many happy and memorable summers were spent at the family cottage at Wade, ON with friends and family. A celebration of Joans life will be held on Friday, February 28, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. in the Garry Memorial Funeral Home, 1291 McGillvray Blvd. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10-120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3C 4G2. The family would like to express their heart felt thanks to the staff at Deer Lodge Centre and especially the 6 West Unit for their care and support. You were always there when we needed you No task too great or small With a loving heart and a willing hand For us you did them all. Thanks for the years you gave us, And for the precious times we shared, God saw you getting tired When healing was not to be, He put His arms around you And said, Come unto Me.
