RUTH MAGEL Passed away peacefully on February 23, 2003 in Vancouver, BC, at the age of 88 years. She was predeceased by loving husband Clarence in June 1976. Ruth will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter Brenda Hofbauer, husband Andy and grandchildren Trevor and Lauren of Calgary; son Glen and wife Susan of Vancouver; son Brian and wife Susan, grand-children Charissa and Nicole, and great-grand-children Grant, Trenton and Carter of Chicago. She will also be remembered by her sisters, many nieces, nephews and friends. Ruth was born in Waldersee, MB, raised as one of 10 children in Plumas, MB and lived in Winnipeg until age 82 before moving to Vancouver. She enjoyed life as wife, mother and homemaker, always enjoying the company of friends and family. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the nursing and medical staff at Burnaby Hospital. Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St., Winnipeg, followed by a reception. Private burial for the family will be on Tuesday at Elmwood Cemetery.
