Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY WOLFE Passed away suddenly on February 23, 2003 at home. She was born on April 14, 1937 in Reinfeld, two and one-half miles east of Winkler. She is survived by three sisters and three brothers, Anne and Jake Thiessen of Winkler, Katie and Pete Wiebe of Lowe Farm, Helen and John Penner of Roland, John and Isadora Wolfe of Winnipeg, Henry Wolfe of Carberry, Dave and Leigh Wolfe of Neepawa; 29 nieces and nephews. Mary has now joined her predeceased, her mom and dad, three brothers, Abe, Pete and Jake. Mary loved people and devoted her life to the building up of others. As a teacher, principal of West St. Paul, Mary was admired by students and colleagues. Mary engendered respect in her work with MCC Mediation Services. Her vision for creating peaceful solutions to personal conflict was further shared through Menno Simmons College, University of Winnipeg where she lectured in conflict resolution. Following her baptism in Christ in May 1956, Mary worshipped and served faithfully as a deaconess, Sunday School teacher, mentor and friend. Marys compassion touched many, many people. She will be sadly missed. Public viewing will be held on Saturday at 8:00 p.m. at Klassens Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, March 2, at Home Street Mennonite Church, 318 Home St., with Rev. Tym Elias officiating. Interment will follow at the Reinfeld Cemetery at 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Canadian Diabetes Association and/or MCC Mediation Services. Although small in stature, Mary was looked up to by many. Her life was a remarkable example of the integrity of Christian faith and life.
