Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFIORENZA AUDINO (nee GIGLIOTTI) Peacefully on Thursday, February 27, 2003 at the St. Boniface Hospital, surrounded by her family, Fiorenza Audino passed away at the age of 70 years. Fiorenza is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Antonio Audino; children, Felicia (Franco) Colavito, Vince (Andrea), Mario (Mavis), Frank (Lelia) and eight grandchildren, Michael, Ryan, Mathew, Marissa, Nadia, Antonio, Antonia and Marco; sisters, Nellina and Gina. Fiorenza will also be lovingly remembered by her special sister-in-law Rosina Gigliotti; numerous other sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and many friends in Canada, Italy and United States. Fiorenza was predeceased by her parents as well as four brothers and four sisters. Fiorenza was born in S. Mango dAquino, Catanzaro, Italy on April 12, 1932. She immigrated to Canada in 1961 to start a new life in Winnipeg with her husband Antonio. She worked for many years in the garment industry until her retirement in 1988. Coming from a large family, Fiorenza acquired and demonstrated a natural predisposition towards the virtues of responsibility, generosity, and sharing. These innate qualities she applied throughout her life. At the work place or in any other situation, she consistently displayed a high sense of leadership and pride. But Fiorenzas top priority in her life was the well being of her immediate and extended family. Her eyes beamed and her heart pounded with joy whenever a family member or friend would make progress with their life path. "Zia" Fiorenzas memory will linger for a long time as a shining example of the purest generosity and deepest compassion towards mankind. The family wishes to thank Dr. Frank Albi and all doctors and nurses at the St. Boniface Hospital for their sensitive and compassionate care. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 1 at 3:00 p.m. in the St. Ignatius Church, 255 Stafford St., with Rev. Fr. Michael Savarimuthu celebrant. Entombment will follow in the Chapel of Eternal Memories Mausoleum, 1501 Waverley St. Pallbearers will be Vincenzo Audino, Michael Audino, Fortunato Cuda, Osvaldo Gigliotti, Enzo Gigliotti, Giovanni Gigliotti, Chris McDonald and Antonio Sacco. In lieu of flowers, donations in Fiorenzas memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 200 - 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
