GABRIELLE CARRIERE Peacefully, with her family by her side, Gabrielle passed away at the young age of 41 at the DeSalaberry Hospital in MB. Her devoted mother Berthe (nee Laroche) and her brother Norm will lovingly remember Gabrielle. She also leaves her great-uncle and aunt, Roland and Mary Dube; uncles and aunts, Lucien and Jeanette Carriere, Irene (late Roland) Carriere, Edouard and Therese Laroche, Therese (late Louis) Laroche, Cecile and Marcien Bosc, Lucien and Lucille Laroche, Therese and Leon Hamonic, Marie and Walter Kork, Arthur and Celine Laroche; numerous cousins, friends and her clients from the National Bank. Gabrielle was predeceased by her father Fernand in 1996; her grandparents Laroche and Carriere; uncles and aunts, Cecile Carriere, Antoine Laroche, August and Marie Laroche, Florence Laroche, Edmond and Marguerite Laroche, Albert Forest and a cousin Ronald Carriere. Gabrielle was raised on the family farm in Otterburne, MB, attended Saint-Boniface College and worked with great pride at the National Bank for over 22 devoted years. Gabrielle loved her family especially her brother Norm; she spent most of her free time at the family farm in Otterburne. Gabrielle asked us to thank the doctors and nurses of the DeSalaberry Hospital and the Homecare personnel and all other caregivers for their excellent personalized attention. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9 or the DeSalaberry District Health Centre. Prayers will be said at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 3 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 DesMeurons St. Funeral service, presided by Father Marcel Carriere, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 4 in the Otterburne Catholic Church St-Viateur Parish.
