WILLIAM (BILL) CHOPYK JR. It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Bill Chopyk, at his residence on Monday, February 24, 2003. Bill was born on February 24, 1933, in St. Boniface, MB, to William and Jean Chopyk. Bill was predeceased by his wife Grace in March 2001. He was also predeceased by his parents. Bill leaves to mourn his passing, his daughter Tracy Jean Chopyk of Calgary; his stepson Michael David Wegner of Winnipeg; his brother John and Marie Chopyk of Minneapolis, MN; his mother-in-law Nancy Ann Giesbrecht and her family; as well, many very special friends he made at the various Clubs he attended. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Tuesday, March 4 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel Mennonite Church, 870 Carter Ave. at Stafford, in the Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bills memory may be made to the Grace General Hospital Foundation, Palliative Care Unit, 300 Booth Dr., Winnipeg, MB R3J 3M7.
