ALEXANDER JAMES (SANDY) MACAULAY Alexander James (Sandy) Macaulay at 57 years of age. Most of us will remember Sandy as a great naturalist and birder. He loved fishing, camping and playing tennis. After a battle with cancer, he died in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife Ruby at his side, and his two daughters, April and Catari and step-daughter Denise nearby on February 22, 2003. He leaves behind his mother Edith Macaulay and sister Donna Macaulay from Edmonton. His children, Catari (J-P Gauthier), April (Kevin Myers) and Luc and grandchildren, Paris, Aelysia, Tamzyn, Kieran, Alex and Mikka from Winnipeg. His wife Ruby Macaulay from Atlanta and step-daughter Denise (Phil Dunn, Emma and Alesia) from South Carolina. Memorial service details will follow at a later date when his ashes are brought home to Canada.
