KENNETH WILLIAM FERGUSON
Born: Feb 26, 1941
Date of Passing: Feb 27, 2003
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKENNETH WILLIAM FERGUSON February 26, 1941 - February 27, 2003 Peacefully, after a brief battle with cancer, Ken passed away at his residence on Thursday, February 27, 2003 at the age of 62 years. He is survived by his beloved wife Bobbie; son Lindsay; sisters, Sylvia, Doris and Eleanor; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Ken loved to work, whether it be at Manitoba Hydro, where he retired in 1996 after 35 years, in his yard or helping friends. One of Kens favourite expressions was "Theres nothing you cant do if you try hard enough" HE SURE DID IT. Ken could be seen working at any hour of the day. He had two loves in his live, carving crib boards, who he only gave to the special people in his life and spending time walking and working in his own 50 acre woods. In compliance with Kens wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. Our family would like to thank Dr. Hayward, Dr. Scurrah, staff at the Victoria General Hospital and his palliative care givers. Special thanks to nephew Brent Ingram and wife Jo-Ann; nieces, Kelli and Tracy; sister-in-law Betty Cogar (Gordon) and their children, Jeffrey, Andrea and Matthew; very special friends, Darlene and Bruce McIvor; his little friends Owen, Evan and Austen who brought so much joy into his life; his friends from Manitoba Hydro who visited at his home and in the hospital. Heartfelt thanks as well to his neighbours who were so thoughtful and helpful during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, friends who desire, donations in Kens memory may be made to South Eastman Health/Palliative Care, P.O. Box 88, St. Pierre, MB R0A 1V0. Worked with Ken when I first started with Manitoba Hydro in 74. He taught me how to carry 8 services up the pole to energize 8 houses. I also helped him farm off of Waverly. Sorry for your loss. - Posted by: Jim Caron (coworker. ) on: Feb 13, 2020
