Sailing Bear Cub is a just released memoir of my sailing experiences. The book is dedicated to Dick Galvin, and Neil McKenzie. Our Canadian sailing companions while in Mexico. I share great photos of Dick in my book. direct link: https://books.friesenpress.com/store/title/119734000193558515 if Dick's family could contact me, I would love to be able to send them a copy of my book as a keepsake of Dick Paula Vickery - Posted by: Paula Cecelia Vickery (sailing friend ) on: Jan 20, 2022

Dick was a great friend. I met him in Mexico. He was like a second father to me. I learned a lot from him, including the English language. He helped me in one of my most difficult moments. I lost contact with him in 1997, and I kept searching for him. I am shocked to learn of his death, but I understand that he lived longer than many people I met. I will never forget him. - Posted by: Jaime Mejia (Friend) on: Sep 02, 2013
