MARGARET GROENING 1922 - 2003 On Friday February 28, 2003 at Boundary Trails Health Centre, Margaret Groening (nee Heinrichs) aged 80, of Winkler, formerly of Kane-Lowe Farm District went to her eternal rest. She leaves to mourn her husband Ed Groening of Winkler, one daughter Anita and Keith Shackleford of Sherwood Park, AB, five sons, Ralph Groening and Patti Griffith of Lowe Farm, Roger Groening and Ruth Loeppky of Winnipeg, Timothy Groening and Teresa Rempel of La Salle, Charles Groening and Cheri Froese of Winnipeg, and Paul Groening of Winnipeg; seven grandchildren, Krista Shackleford, Allison Groening; Jillian Groening, Michael Groening; Laura Groening, Thomas Groening, and Amy Groening; 11 sisters and one brother. Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3 at 2:00 p.m. at the Winkler Bergthaler Mennonite Church, with Rev. Arnie Neufeld, Rev. John R. Friesen, and Rev. Glen Klassen officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Farm Cemetery. If friends so desire memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Food Grains Bank, 400-280 Smith Ave., Box 767, Winnipeg, MB R3C 2L4.
