BETH MARION GRAY-LOXTON (nee McINTYRE) Suddenly, on February 27, 2003 at Seven Oaks Hospital Beth passed away at the age of 78. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Sharon Gray of Ottawa, ON, Gail Gray of Harrowsmith, ON, Don (Leigh) Gray of Winnipeg and Elaine (Mike) Adams of Harrowsmith; her grandchildren, Tamara, Samantha (Corwin), Andra, Breena; and great-grandson Joshua. Also surviving are her brothers, Douglas (Wilda), Lloyd (Helen) and Ronald; her sisters, Eline, Audrey, Yvonne (Richard). She will be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Beth was predeceased by her parents, Mary and Donald McIntyre and her first husband George Gray. Beth was born in Swan River, MB on August 26, 1924. In her early years she loved to skate with her sister Eline and enjoyed visiting her much loved Grandmother McIntyre. In 1942, Beth joined the army, training in Calgary, and St. Annes, QC. She was stationed at Suffield, AB where she made many friends, among them her soon to be husband. In November 1945 she married George Gray and soon after they moved to Winnipeg. During those years Beth worked for the T. Eaton Company in the China Deptartment as well as caring for her family. She enjoyed playing the piano especially for her father who often accompanied her on the mouth organ or the violin. Beth will be remembered as a friendly, thoughtful person and a generous loving mother and grandmother. A service of remembrance will be held on Tuesday, March 4 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Deer Lodge Centre, 2109 Portage Ave. Interment will take place at a later date. If friends wish, a donation may be made in Beths memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald St., Suite 200, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
