Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJUNE LEONA STASIUK (nee MACKUS) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mother on March 2, 2003 at Golden Links Nursing Home. Mom was born on June 8, 1924 in Moosehorn, MB where she spent her early life. She later moved to Winnipeg where she resided until her passing. Her leisure time was spent doing needlework, taking long car rides and frequent trips to Grand Forks. She worked for many years as a gift wrapper in Eatons China Department. Mom leaves to mourn her daughter Diane and husband Morris; son Larry and wife Marilyn; sisters, Joyce and Kay; nieces, nephews, a granddaughter and close friend Alex. Mom was predeceased by her loving husband Louis (1985) parents; brothers, Henry (1967), Edmund (1974), Gustave (1999), Adolph; sisters, Helen (1991) and Elsie (1992). Diane and Larry would like to express their sincere thanks to the wonderful staff at Golden Links for their care and compassion and for treating Mom with dignity and kindness. In lieu of flowers, family and friends can make a donation to the Alzheimers Society, 10-120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 5, at 12:00 noon at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Reception to follow with interment at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle rain. When you awake in the mornings hush, I am the swift uplifting rush. Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry. I am not there. I did not die. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
