PATRICK GEORGE HAMILTON Tragically on Saturday, March 1, 2003, at 145 Powers Street, Patrick George Hamilton passed away at the age of 52 years. Patrick was born in Bloodvien, MB, on March 16, 1950, and has resided there his entire life. He was employed at Bloodvien First Nation as a Band Manager for over 20 years and also by the RCMP detachment as a police guard. Patrick was very active in the community helping the residents with filing their income tax returns and E.I. forms. He will be sadly missed by the community he loved so much. He always put others before himself. He leaves to cherish his beautiful memory two brothers, Roderick and wife Imelda and family and Roland; and two step-brothers, Harold and wife Illa, Gordon and family; special cousin William Scott; one step-sister Mary Ann Owen; and adopted sister Noella Hamilton; one son Billy Joe (Frances Young) and wife Illa Young; one half brother Edwin Orvis; and grand-children, Travis, Chad, Dustin and Eliza. There are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by parents Harry and Harriett Hamilton; two brothers, Morton Hamilton and Melvin Hamilton; two step-brothers, Henry James Bushie and Fred Bushie; two infants; brother Harry Hamilton Jr.; and sister Virginia Hamilton; two step-sisters, Maudina Green and Maggie Young; grandmother Mary Jane Hamilton and grandfather William Hamilton. Prayers will be said Tuesday, March 4, from 8:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight at Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave. at Parr, Winnipeg. Wake services will be held on Wednesday, March 5 and Thursday March 6 at Bloodvien Band Hall. Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 7 at 2:00 p.m. at Bloodvien Missionary Church, with Rev. David Russell officiating. Pallbearers will be Billy Joe Young, Peter Scott, Howard Hamilton, Dwayne Bushie, Peter Young and Delbert Bruce. As we loved him, so we miss him.
