Her smile always brought joy to everyones heart. Mom leaves a legacy of compassion and generosity. Her door was always open and she was always willing to lend a helping hand. She was a pillar of strength and always there when you needed her most. She will be sadly missed, but never forgotten. Thanks to Drs. Petkau, Beyers, and Corder, staff at East Gate Lodge, and Russell Funeral Home. A special thanks for messages of condolences from Gordon Fulford in Madrid, Spain, and Lew Newman in Sydney, Australia. Flowers gratefully declined. Clarkes Funeral Home, Gladstone in care of arrangements. You can only have one mother, loving, kind and true. No other friend in all the world will be so true to you. For all her loving kindness she asks for nothing in return. If all the world deserted us, to our Mother we could turn. For those of us who have a mother, treasure her with care, For you will never know her value, till you see that shes not there. To hear her voice, to see her smile, to sit and talk with her awhile, To be together in the same old way, would be our dearest wish today.
