GERARD JOSEPH MEDERIC TURCOTTE 1923 -2003 Peacefully on March 3, 2003, at Deer Lodge Centre, with his family at his side, Gerry passed away at the age of 80. His family, daughters, Monique, Lise and Gisele; his sisters, Denise Johnson and Odette Morosse will miss him. He was predeceased by his wife Fabiola Desrosiers; his parents, Arthur and Josephine, as well as his brother Jean. Gerry worked for the city of Winnipeg as a mechanic. He will be remembered for his tireless service to CUPE 500, the Belgian Club and the Legion. A special thanks to the staff of the Dialysis Unit at St. Boniface Hospital and to the staff of 3E Deer Lodge Centre. Funeral mass will celebrated on Wednesday, March 5 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Boniface Cathedral, 200 ave. Cathedrale. Reception and interment will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Gerrys memory to the Kidney Foundation of Canada Manitoba Branch, 200-55 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 1L8 or to Deer Lodge Centre, 2109 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3J 0L3.
