Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBARBARA JOYCE WOOD Barb passed away suddenly on March 2, 2003 in Campbell River, BC. Born in Winnipeg on October 28, 1925, raised her family in Winnipeg and Prince George, and she and George spent the last few great years in Campbell River. Survived by her loving husband and best friend George; daughter Deborah of Victoria; sons, Duncan (Lisa) and Andrew of Vancouver; and dear grandchildren, Caroline and Tal. Predeceased by her daughter Leslie. Also survived by her sister Connie (Jim) of Vancouver. Barb was a well respected Realtor in Prince George and an avid curler. She served a term as President of the B.C. Ladies Curling Association and was a member of the Eight-Ender Club. She was a great wife and wonderful mother. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, and special four-footed friend Bren. Memorial service at Suttons Campbell River Funeral Home on March 7 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of B.C. and Yukon.
