JOCELYN KAY ORNE (nee DOWNES) 1929 - 2003 Peacefully, on Tuesday, March 4, 2003 at Health Sciences Centre, Jocelyn passed away at the age of 73 years. Jocelyn was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Kathleen; her husbands, Edward Orne and Robert Young and by her daughter Jocelyn and granddaughter Jennifer. She will be sadly missed by her children, Robert (Annick), Ronald (Gail), Susan (Dano) and William (Linda), as well as by brothers, Jack (Evelyn) and Vincent and sister June and by her eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Jocelyn was employed many years at Childrens Hospital and also the Health Sciences Centre, retiring in 1992. She volunteered at the Age and Opportunity West End Seniors Centre and was active in bowling. She enjoyed foreign travel with her relatives and often visited her brother Vince and sister June in B.C. Jocelyn will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 10 at 10:00 a.m. in Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy No. 1 East at Navin Rd. A private family interment will follow. Family members wish to thank all those who expressed sympathy and offered assistance.
