FRANCES ALLEN 1914 - 2003 Peacefully, after a lengthy hospital stay, Frances Allen passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2003, at the Health Sciences Centre. Left to mourn her passing are her three daughters, Glennys (Jim) Fairbairn, Frances Lewis (Lyle Stenberg), Kathy (Rick) Reimer; grandchildren, Theresa Weimar, John (Nancy) Fairbairn, Chrissy (Randy Trafiak) and Robert (Trisha) Lewis, and Erica Reimer; great-grandchildren, Jesse, and Destiny Weimar. Also close family friends, Bea Nicholson, Glenn Kelly and her faithful four-legged friend Amore. Frances was predeceased by her loving husband Rupert in 1991. Frances was a long-time resident of the Kiwanis Chateau, and spent many happy hours playing cards with her many friends. She was a classical music enthusiast and enjoyed playing the organ. Her other interests included her model railroad and attending Saturday morning auctions at Wachniaks. The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at GD4 wing of the Health Sciences Centre for their excellent care and understanding. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Monday, March 10, 10:00 a.m., at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
