Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySALICK PATRAM August 23, 1923 - March 7, 2003 Peacefully at the Concordia Hospital after a short illness. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Dhanpati Patram; father of Shanti (Danny) and Motilal (Germaine) grandfather of Jewan, Pamela, Wayne, Kynan, Shauna (Stuart), Avinash (Shilpa) Rishma (Anthony), Mala (Don), Devi Vishera (Ryan) uncle of Surend (Ahalya), Yvonne and many other nieces and nephews from Calgary, Toronto and Trinidad; brother of Lincoln (Mona), Baby, Henry, all from Calgary; Rosy (Ramsumair) and Sailor all from Trinidad; many friends especially Garry and Beverly Watson. Born in Jordan Hill, Trinidad and was raised by his aunt and uncle in Rio Clano after the passing of his mother. He earned his living from mixed farming, logging and then road construction for the oil field company in Trinidad for 35 years, a job which earned him many friends, allowed him to use his in born skills to do an engineers job even though he had very little formal education. He immigrated to Winnipeg in mid 1980s where he spent many memorable and unforgettable moments with family and friends. Many thanks to Dr. Alvi and the nursing staff at Concordia for their kindness and care. He was predeceased by his parents, brothers, Teeluck, Nanan and Keats. Celebration of his life will take place on Sunday, March 9 at 2:00 p.m. Garry Memorial 1291 McGillivray Blvd. Winnipeg, Manitoba 949-4860
