ELLEN J. PEABODY It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Ellen Peabody on Monday, March 3, 2003 at Concordia Hospital, but we are happy that she is together with all her family in everlasting peace. She was predeceased by her husband William in 1966; her only son Billy in 1983 and her daughters, Carol Doyle in January, 2001 and Shirley Bircham in February, 2001; her brothers, Andy, George, Fred and Bill Boomer and her sister-in-law Olive Boomer. She is survived by her four grandchildren, Sharon Bircham of Alberta, Gary Bircham of Winnipeg, Dean Bircham of England and Allan Bircham of Winnipeg; 13 great-grandchildren and five great great-grandchildren; also her sister-on-law Mary Boomer, her daughter Anne and granddaughter Sara; sister-in-law Marg Boomer and her son Tim Boomer. The family wishes to thank her good friend, Oly, who over the years has been a constant source of help to her, as well as June and Don Sanberg. Cremation has taken place and at her request there will be no service. Cropo Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
