DRUVAL BRYANT WESTCOTT Druval entered into rest on Saturday, March 8, 2003. He was born on August 26, 1945 in Winnipeg where he lived most of his life. He will be deeply missed by his wife Lorraine; his son Duvie Jr., and his daughter Shannon. He is also survived by and will be deeply missed by his parents, Druval and Norma Westcott; his brothers, Doug and John (Vicki) his sisters, Cathy and Mari Dawn, all of Vancouver; his sister Laurie (Rob) of Dana Point, CA, and also Aunt Evie of Winnipeg. Duve will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Duve attended the University of Manitoba where he earned his B.Sc. and B.Comm. New lifelong friendships began here, including those with fraternity brothers in Phi Delta Theta. He went on to several endeavours which included investment broker, real estate agent, and appraiser. His friends at the Winnipeg Squash Racquet Club will miss this "finely tuned athlete". Duve spent many happy days at the lake, both Lake of the Woods and Caddy Lake and will be best remembered for the joy and humour he brought to any gathering of family or friends. The family would like to thank the paramedics, the fire department first responders, and the compassionate staff at Grace Hospital. A celebration of Duves life will be held on Thursday, March 13 at 11:00 a.m. in the Grant Memorial Baptist Church, 877 Wilkes Ave. with Rev. Canon Arthur Thompson officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be, Jim Harley, Jim Dixon, Bob Inkster, John Gray, David Brown, Bill Arbuthnot, Doug Westcott, and Dave Sharpe. Flowers are gratefully declined.
