Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHARRY OLENICK It is with a mixture of sorrow and joy that Harry Olenick went to be with his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, on March 9, 2003, at Victoria General Hospital. He was born on April 26, 1921, at Deleau, MB, where he also received his education. After high school he was in the Army and during the war spent some years in Germany. When the war was over he returned and worked for the Winnipeg Transit for 36 years. Harry was predeceased by his sister Betty; his parents, Nicholas and Zenovia Olenick; and his beloved wife Anne. Harry leaves to mourn his sister Ramona (Joe) Hancharuk; nephew David (Colleen) Hancharuk, Ted Hancharuk; niece Beverly (Calvin) Knutson, Keri and Ryan Knutson, and Dustin Hancharuk, his great-niece and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 12 at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., with Rev. John Regehr officiating. The family would like to thank the Victoria Hospital staff for their devoted care. Donations may be made to the Gideon Bible Society, P.O. Box 3619, Guelph, ON N1H 7A2.
