BUD HARVEY The death of Charles Alexander (Bud) Harvey occurred on March 10, 2003. Born October 6, 1925 to Charles and Mary Harvey. At age 16 he joined the Army where he trained as a surveyor, and upon discharge was employed by C.N. Railways from which he retired in 1982. He married Helen Elliot on November 4, 1947. His company moved them to Winnipeg in 1974. After Helens passing in 1983, Bud returned to Saskatoon in 1994. Bud is survived by sons, Patrick (Anne) of Powell River, BC, and Dick (Bonnie) of Brandon, MB; his grandchildren, Shaun (Jewel), Jaret (Kim), Brett, Michelle (Neil) Gushalak, Christine (Keith) Kraus; great-grandchildren, Alicia, Chelsi, Hope, Skyler, Danika; sisters, Victoria (Don) Pippin Armstrong, Ethel (Bob) Talbot, Betty (Lex) Blair, June (Ken) Kraus, Earla (Don) Lardner, Vesta (Bill) Ferguson; brother Elwood (Marion) sisters-in-law, Sue Taylor, Lulu Taylor; brother-in-law Tom (Mabel) Elliot. Numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by wife Helen in 1983; parents, Charles and Mary Harvey. Mother and father-in-law Mary and William Elliot; sister-in-law Maxine Elliot; brothers-in-law, Andrew Elliot and Ralph Pippin. A memorial service will be held on March 14 at St. Timothys Anglican Church, 2102 Lansdowne Ave., at 2:00 p.m., conducted by Rev. Colleen Stonhouse. Interment at Woodlawn Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. on March 14. Friends so wishing may make donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
