MARGARET ISABEL MOAR Peacefully, with her family at her side, Margaret Isabel Moar passed away at the McCreary/Alonsa Health Centre at the age of 75 years, on March 11, 2003. Margaret was born on October 12, 1927 at Gladstone, MB. She was orphaned at the age of 3 years and was raised by her grandparents, Isabel and Colin McAuley. Margaret received her education at the Pine Creek Residential School and was only home for 2 months of the year for many years. Margaret was greatly loved by all who knew her and she will be missed. Margaret was predeceased by her brothers, Roland and Louis and by her sister Doreen. She leaves to mourn her passing and cherish many fond memories, her husband Leo of Ste. Rose du Lac; her 7 sons, John (Diane) of Crane River, Russell (Eileen) of Crane River, Barry (Marceline) of Crane River, Roland (Margaret) of Crane River, Lawrence (Eve) of Winnipeg, Dennis (Georgina) of Winnipeg, Sheldon (Stephanie) of Crane River. There are 25 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren along with her aunts, Melva Moar of Winnipeg and Helen Conway of Winnipeg and numerous cousins, extended family and many friends. Prayers will be offered on Thursday, March 13, at 7:00 p.m. from the Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Crane River, MB. Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 14 at 1:00 p.m. from the church in Crane River. Fr. Norberto Monton will officiate with the interment to follow in the Crane River Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Trent McDonald, Trevor McDonald, Lyle McDonald, Kirk McDonald, Lucien Spence, Lyndon Moar, and Jason McDonald. Honorary pallbearers will be Henry McDonald, Russell McDonald, Bradley McDonald, Christopher McDonald, Dale Moar, Mervin Moar, Finley Moar, Garry Moar, and Sheldon Moar Jr. Should friends so desire, donations may be made in memory of Margaret to the Alzheimers Society of Manitoba. The family wishes to extend their thanks to the doctors and staff of the McCreary/Alonsa Health Centre for their excellent care and compassion during Margarets stay there. Ste.
