DOUG PARKER On Sunday, March 9, 2003 at Tofield Hospital, Alberta, Douglas Floyd Parker went to be with His Lord. Doug is survived by his loving wife, Myrna and their three children; Wade (Dawn), Kim, and Carmen. He will also be missed by his parents, Fred and Gladys Parker of Winnipeg, and sister and brothers; Denise (Dewar) McIntosh, Glenn, Gary (Debbie), Bruce, Brian (Joan), Gord, and Gregg (Pam). Also many nephews and nieces. Doug was born in Winnipeg July 8, 1949. He worked in the aviation field in Manitoba and in Alberta for a few years before he met Myrna. Doug and Myrna returned to farm in the Stonewall area for a short time, then returned to Alberta. He was employed with Transport Canada at the time of his passing. Dougs friendly nature and willingness to help others will be missed. A memorial service will be held Friday, March 15 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church, 205 Roseberry St., Winnipeg.
