JAY MORGAN ALPHONSE HARRY (B Jay) August 26, 1978 - March 10, 2003 It is with deep and heartfelt sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Jay Harry, on Monday, March 10, 2003, at the age of 24 years. He leaves to cherish his memory his daughter Sarah Dorie; his mother Mabel Harry; and his father Gerald (Pat) brothers, Terrence (Allyson), Mitchell, Devon, Derek; sisters, Geraldine (Mark) and Denise; as well as Nanny Sarah; numerous aunts, uncles, relatives, friends; and fiancee Kendra Starr; and stepdaughter Alana. He was predeceased by Nanny Esther, Mishoom Alphonse Fontaine; grandparents Helen and Richard Harry; and by his uncles, Charlie, Roger and Alex; cousins, Corey Courchene and Daryle Thickfoot. Wake services will be held at the family home, House #447 North Shore, Sagkeeng First Nation. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 17 at 2:00 p.m. from the St. Alexander Roman Catholic Church, Ft. Alexander, MB, with Fr. Jean Jacque Sarceau officiating. Interment will be in the Parish Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mark Courchene, Dwight Hamlin, Sherman Courchene, Evan Courchene, Mitchell Harry and Christian Edwards. Viewing will be held at the church beginning at 1:00 p.m. If friends so desire donations may be made to Mabel Harry to help cover the funeral costs.
