Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHAROLD JAMES THIBODEAU It is with deep sorrow we announce the peaceful passing of our dearly beloved father and husband on March 12, 2003 at the age of 80. Harold was born in Piney, MB on March 31, 1922. He was predeceased by his parents and one sister Audrey McFarlane. Harold leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his memory his wife of 47 years, Violet; two sons, Kurt and Robert; two daughters, Diane and Cindy; three granddaughters, Connie, Tara and Melissa; also grandchildren and great-grandchildren in New Zealand. He is also survived by two brothers, David and Jerry; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Harold was with the Navy for five years and served on two ships, the Algonquin and Coppercliffe. He worked as a barber with his father for four years. He then worked for the City of Winnipeg for 32 years as a transit driver at night, and drove a school bus during the day for 29 years. Harold loved to travel and especially loved his trips with Violet to Arizona to see his brothers. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 18, at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM 885-9715
