ROBERT WILGOSH December 15, 1946- March 12, 2003 Following a lengthy illness, Robert passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 12, 2003, with his family at his side. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Linda - they were married for 32 years. He is survived by his daughter Kimberly and son-in-law Jeff Szyszkowski; grandchildren, Samantha and Zachary; son Jeff and daughter-in-law Anna Wilgosh; brother Ron and sister-in-law Margo Wilgosh. Dad was employed as a Winnipeg police officer for 28 years. He spent most of those years working in Transcona. Even after he retired, he continued to cruise the streets. We would often hear the sound of his Chrysler going by. To Dad, his greatest accomplishment was his family. He cherished both of his children and relished in their achievements. He adored his son-in-law Jeff and his daughter-in-law Anna. His grandchildren were a constant source of joy in his life. Above all, he truly loved his wife and best friend Linda. My brother and I would like to thank our mom for being our dads guardian angel. A funeral service will be held on March 17 at 10:30 a.m. at the Transcona Funeral Home, 1800 Day St. A time of fellowship and refreshments will be held in the reception centre. A private family interment will take place at a later date at the Transcona Cemetery. We wish to extend a special thank you to our loving friends and family who have supported us through this difficult journey.
