MARY N. CHORNOPYSKI On Thursday, March 13, 2003 at the Vita Personal Care Home, Mary Chornopyski of Vita, MB passed away peacefully at the age of 87 years. She is survived by four children, Edward (Cecelia) of Winnipeg, Wilmer (Gail) of Gardenton, Verna (Earl) Falk of Vita and Doris (Ron) Pidlubny of Winnipeg; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three sisters, Violet, Lilly, and Sophie; four brothers, Alexander, Peter, Nickolas and John; as well as other relatives and friends. Mary was predeceased by her parents, John and Anastasia Jaman; husband Nick in 1986; sister Kay; and brother Bill. Prayers will be said on Monday, March 17 at 7:30 p.m. at Loewen Funeral Chapel, No. 12 Hwy. S. in Steinbach. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 18 at 10:30 a.m. at the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Vita with the Very Rev. Fr. Miron Pozniak officiating. Interment to follow in the St. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery in Arbakka. Arrangements entrusted to Loewen Funeral Chapel.
