LEO HILLER Suddenly, with his family by his side, Leo Ewald Hiller passed away on March 10, 2003, at the Riverview Health Centre. Left to mourn are his brother Ed (Agnes) sister Lottie; brothers, Arno (Renate), Willie (Victoria), Arthur (Anne), Bruno, and their respective families. He was predeceased by a sister in infancy; his mother Else in 1941; his father Christoph in 1945; and his stepmother Hulda in 1999. Leo was born on August 26, 1937, in Sepno, Poland. In 1949 he fled from Poland to East Germany, then to West Germany and in 1955 he immigrated to Oakbank, MB, Canada. He worked in various locations in Manitoba and Ontario throughout his lifetime. He loved to travel and enjoyed watching sports. Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 17 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel at Glen Eden Funeral Home with viewing one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations in Leos memory may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
