Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMICHAL MORRIS HIRSCH July 5, 1920 - February 28, 2003 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and untimely passing of our beloved husband, father and Zaida, Michal Morris Hirsch. He was born July 5, 1920 in Kopyczynce, Poland and from the day he was born to the day he died he was a special man that touched the hearts of many. A gentle man, a gentle soul, a man of honour, a man of valour and a man of courage. He will be fondly remembered by all that knew him. His best friend, his partner in life, our mother Sabina, the light of his life. Our parents will be bound together forever, they are two hearts that beat as one. To his children, Shelley, Monica (Michael Kushner) and his son Len, and to his grandchildren, Nicole, David, Gavin and Jared he will be remembered as a mentor, a leader, a scholar of life, a self taught learned man and a generous spirit. His devotion to his family and extended family was immeasurable. He never let us down. He inspired us all. Family, friends and the community admired his conduct in life. Our father enhanced the lives of so many through his morals, his values, integrity, generosity, empathy and humour. Your laughter was contagious, your smile and aura give us strength to carry forward your legacy. You are our pillar of strength and will remain in our hearts and thoughts forever. Our father was a man on a mission, who never stopped till the mission was complete. A man of his word and one who never faltered. Our dad lived life to the fullest and he knew the great value of human life. As a Holocaust survivor he was defiant about instilling and teaching people about the Holocaust. He was a staunch supporter of Jewish causes and served the entire community well. He survived for a reason, and that was to be able to be a voice for those who could no longer be heard. During his life, our father travelled all over the world. He had a great knowledge for languages, and was able to communicate and co-exist with people from all walks of life. Our father was one of the most respected businessmen in the garment trade. His zest for creativity never ceased to amaze anyone in the industry. His honesty and integrity as a businessman were some of his greatest attributes. His staff respected him and will miss him greatly. Dad you were integral in training and passing on your traits to us your children and grandchildren. We cherish your memory! We love you. We miss you! OUR FATHER, OUR MENTOR, OUR BEST FRIEND!
