CONNIE LORI-LEE FONTAINE January 3, 1981 - March 14, 2003 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Connie Fontaine on March 14, 2003 at the age of 22. Connie will be sadly missed and forever cherished by her two beautiful daughters, Brandi (4) and Kyla (1) also by Dave Kushneryk; her mother Lorna Fontaine; and (stepdad) Bert Thibodeau; father Norman Reckxsielder; (stepdad) Barry Paterson; brothers, Lance (Lindsay) Fontaine, Craig (Marlene) Fontaine, Kevin Fontaine, Mark (Rheanan) Fontaine, Barry Jr. Fontaine, Keith Reckxsielder, Ryan Reckxsielder, Tyson Reckxsielder; sisters, Lisa and Tracy Fontaine, Angie (Mike), Shannon (Garrett), Tasha Reckxsielder; special friend Ken Truthwaite; Gary Ford (parent of Brandi) numerous uncles, aunties, nephews, nieces, cousins and many other family members and friends. Connie was predeceased by her great-grandparents, Isadore and Sara Jane Canada; grandparents, Daniel and Eva Fontaine; cousin Joey Fontaine; and auntie Daphne Latkovitch. Prayers will be said on Saturday, March 15 and Sunday March 16 at 7:00 p.m. at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave. at Parr, Winnipeg, with wake to follow. Wake services will be held on Monday, March 17 and Tuesday, March 18 at St. Alexander Catholic Church, Fort Alexander. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 19 at 2:00 p.m. also at the Church with Fr. John Jack Serceau and Fr. Laval Cloutier officiating. Interment to follow at the Parish Cemetery.
