EDWARD KRYSKO On Tuesday, February 4, 2003, suddenly but peacefully, our beloved Ed passed away in Surrey, BC. He is survived by his loving wife Mary; and his two children, Jennifer (Rick) and John. He is also survived by his brothers, Stan (Helen) Krysko and Ted (Diane) Krysko; sisters, Lena Buckley, Mary (Ted) Wolfe and Pauline (Norman) Good; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Ed was born in Winnipeg on November 25, 1937, and resided there most of his life. He joined the Winnipeg School Division as a teacher in 1962 and was a committed, dedicated teacher for 40 years having just retired in November of 2002. In spite of many health problems, Ed had a zest for life and people and enjoyed every day to the fullest. His happiest times outside of teaching which he loved so much were those spent with his children. He was a devoted father and will be missed more than words can say. Summers at the cottage in Sandy Hook were such happy times for Ed and the family. Ed loved gardening, tending to all his beloved trees and flowers, building and renovating and having bonfires at the beach. A celebration of Eds life will be held at the family cottage at Sandy Hook, on July 5, 2003, at 2:00 p.m. If friends so desire, donations in honour of Ed may be made to the Manitoba Diabetic Association.
