JAMES ARTHUR FARWELL Jim passed away on February 23, 2003 at San Marcos, Ca. from complications of Parkinsons Disease. He was born in Winnipeg on February 5, 1925 and attended public schools in Fort Garry and Winnipeg and graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He retired in 1980 as District Advertising Manager in Los Angeles for Household Finance Corp. and moved to San Marcos, where he and his wife Julia resided for 22 years. He is survived by his wife Julia of 45 years, his brother Stanley (Jean) of Winnipeg, niece Barbara Farwell of Toronto, nephew James of Vancouver and brother-in-law Peter D. Peacock of Vancouver. A memorial service was held March 5 at Meadowlark Community Church in San Marcos, Ca.
